Abstarct: Magnetic separation of microparticles due to its utilization in various fields such as medicine, therapy, food industry laboratory, and so on. In recent decades, it has been the focus of many researchers. There are different methods to perform the separation process; the separation of microparticles by the magnetic field is efficient due to the non-contact nature of the independence of the ion concentration and the lack of induction heating. In most of the researches that have been investigated in recent years related to this issue, permanent magnet and ferromagnetic wire were used to perform the separation and sorting process. However, in the current research, by presenting an innovative method of placing two triangular plates materials of copper and carrying different electric currents, we created a non-uniform magnetic field under the microchannel, and the force obtained from the non-uniform magnetic field caused the separation and trapping of particles. Using this system, it was possible to separate particles from each other in different parts of the microchannel with an efficiency of %99. In this research, the electric current of the particles, the diameter of the particles, the magnetic susceptibility of the particles, and the fluid are critical parameters for the separation process. The mentioned parameters were checked separately for different magnetic particles, and M-450 and Oligo(dT)25 particles were used as sample particles to perform the separation process simultaneously. In addition, to maximize the efficiency of the effect of the initial position of the release of the particles, the fluid velocity and the magnetic field changes with the change of the electric current in the microchannel were investigated. The M-450 and Oligo(dT)25 particles were respectively passed through the plates with an electric current of 50[mA] and 150[mA]. They were separated into different parts of the channel. Also, to maximize the separation efficiency of the system, the fluid speed 2[m/s] was set. By changing the electric current, the proposed microchip can be used to separate particles with different characteristics.
